| methods to upgrade the quality of education, enabling our youth to keep up with the times. Therefore, Chung -Shan should do the following¡G |
 Keep stressing general principles of
education ¡Ğconstantly emphasizing and improving traditional ethics as well as daily-life education. Grasp
variations in education¡Ğimproving teaching resources (for example updating
equipment, teaching
materials and teaching methods on a daily basis). Under waves of change, we
should cultivate unique "school culture" which will serve as the guideline of thinking and
behavior for the
faculty and students alike. Recently, we have formulated "Brand New Century Broadening
Eyesight" as our goal for future school development. Hopefully, by combining wisdom and
enthusiasm of the faculty with those of the students, we can proceed together to
become a
first- class school which cultivates excellent students.

Our
school was founded in 1957 and was named after Taiwan's National Father:
"Chung-Shan High School". In 1974, to train more manpower for the
developing economy, the school transferred to a vocational high school and
was renamed as Chung-Shan Industrial & Commercial High School. In 1985 the Night School Technical
Skills Courses were set up; in 1994 the Night Supplementary School was
founded; and in 1996 the Comprehensive High School started. For more than
twenty years our principle, Mr. Chen, and faculty
have tried their best to progress the development of students. To create the
best
educational environment has been the single target. Especially in daily discipline, we are
strict but not harsh. Therefore, we reached this target in 1996: the best vocational high
school with six thousand top students. |
| Our school's main priority in vocational education is to produce more manpower for the whole country. We expect that all graduates after learning techniques at our school will contribute greatness in every aspect to the whole country. Also, Chung-Shan teaches it's students a strong discipline consisting of six "spirits"-- responsibility, attentiveness, patience, honesty, motivation, and leadership. We hope to create an ideal educational environment for students while preparing them with useful manpower for serving the whole country. |
